In my two years of life in a corporate and the conversations
I had with people from other organizations I found too many men wasting their
valuable time creating illusions about women with whom they work along. Though
these kinds of men and such problems comprise of small section considering size
of an organization, it is required to address the issue as too often these men
end up wasting lot of useful time and their valuable thinking for an
unimportant cause. Most of the time men end up in a confused state.
Women are misinterpreted by men mostly, especially in
modern workplaces or in metro cities. In my observation I found out that women
have priorities with whom they want to spend time. They stick with them and
choose not to disturb others. A few turn
out to be playing around with feelings of others. This may be applicable to men
also. There is another category of people whom I don’t consider to speak about
today, the greedy men who are lusted in their every thought and women who
actually choose to betray men. The rest constitutes of women whom I call as the
sacred gender. They don’t belong to any of category mentioned above. They are
aware of their actions. They are pretty clear about social behavior and are
very much sensible. I couldn't stop writing this article after reading an
archived conversation with one such sensible woman. Well, here comes the problem.
These women choose to behave socially and professionally which is often wrongly
interpreted by men.
This misinterpretation in immature men with different
backgrounds is causing all the confusions. Most of them are from non co-ed
schools and colleges, country side or might have been raised without any female
presence in family with exception of mother. It will be little tough for them
to get along in the new world they suddenly entered. Too often they feel it
confused to get along in presence of sacred gender. Some of these men feel
happy that the barriers are broken when some communication should be going on in the group with them. Some feel the freedom that they no longer need
to do some senseless act for impressing sensible, the sacred gender. As such women
themselves approach and start conversation with men, which is professional. Acquiring
such unasked gifts these men are like excited kids who learn to start cycling
without any support, but don’t know where brake is! They feel everything is
alright but only in few seconds they will realize they cannot stop bicycle and
could do so only by falling.
Similarly here they
start assuming themselves that sacred gender actually like them or like getting
along with them. Things start getting complicated when some similarities exist
in tastes between these men and women. These immature heroes again start
assuming that luck favoured them and begin their illusions. Some go a step ahead
and name this illusion with the four lettered word. This is the biggest problem
in assuming. It takes a considerable amount of wasted time and a bunch of too
deep emotions to realize that the sacred gender is actually behaving socially
with these men. These men should come to reality in a very early stage and
start behaving socially rather than being immature. It actually feels awkward
at a stage or it hurts when sacred gender conveys that they are actually being social
or professional.
I feel that there is also influence of movies and
western culture on these men. There may be some other ways of getting such
influences but these two plays a major role. Though I love fiction and feel sad
to criticize movies it should be accepted that movies will plant seeds of such
illusions in minds of such immature men. Coming to imitation we choose to
follow west in unnecessary things rather than learning useful things from them.
Creating these illusions is one such useless learning from their teen movies
and T V shows. Although in this present time in it is hard to restrain one from
watching movies/shows from either sources it is best if one gets knowledge of
behaving with women in offices and workplaces socially.
There is a golden rule said by my first ever manager in life -Never assume anything .He taught it to me in sense of work but I feel it
extremely useful in various daily encounters and I wish these Mr. Immature’s
can apply that to their attitude too .The enforcement of government laws and
new regulations throughout country is slightly bringing a change of attitude
and little fear in men but change will happen only when it comes truly from
heart and not by enforcement.
